As a semi-pro photographer, I questioned whether I needed to do a tour in a city like Bruges, but after corresponding with Andy, I decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did. From the start, he was very prompt in responses and my questions. I ended up doing the private Edges of Brugge, which is the one I'd recommend as it gets you away from the busiest canals of the city center. What I always like about a good, well-organized photo tour is that they're such an efficient way of maximizing your chances to get good shots. A place like Bruges that is fairly small and beautiful everywhere might seem super easy photograph well, but its sometimes hard to get unique shots that don't look like the same ones most others get. Andy was great about getting me to spots that had unique compositional opportunities and the potential for things to develop, like places where a boat could come through a great spot of the frame and add another dimension to it. I also appreciated that it was a good cross-section of the city, from the canals, to architecture, to some quiet streets, to little details that I would probably not have noticed. He also encouraged me to try some different compositions that I wouldn't have normally, and I ended up with some unique angles that showed the streets and buildings from a perspective I wouldn't usually think to try. Andy has real passion and energy for this work and it shows. One tip I would give is that the private tour is very reasonably-priced and the way to go. You can have a flexible start time and I'd suggest starting early, like maybe 8-9 am or so, so you can get out ahead of the boats and crowds. It's much quieter and you can get some great reflections in the water as it's very still before the boats start out. Really great experience all the way! - 28/07/24

The first tour we booked was “Edges of Brugge”. We felt Andy showed us a wide variety of locations, ideas on what and how to photograph it (if we felt that location spoke to us), and suggestions on how to improve. We felt that by the end of the tour our minds were opened to seeing sights differently. We were learning how to tell a story instead of just taking a photo. So, three days later we took the “Essential Brugge” tour. We learned so much. Besides more guidance on our photography skills, Andy told us the history of the sights we were seeing also. Andy’s humor as well as his passion for life and photography made his tours absolutely amazing. At the end of the tours, Andy gave us tokens of appreciation along with dining and shopping tips. Andy gives you 100% of his energy in creating a very worthwhile experience. The memories we made will be cherished and we have some fabulous photos to show our friends and family. - 28/06/24

5 star rating Any time again!!! I booked the tour for a friend and myself. We both like to take photos but are anything else than experienced! :) So we thought, maybe we learn something new and see spots we would not discover on our own. And our expectation got exciedet by miles!!!
Not only was Andy our guide an absolut pro behind the camera but as well super friendly, organized and absolutly well informed about historical information and interesting storys. He took us to so many amazing places, showed us example pictures with different angels, different focus and lightning. Explained from which position he took the picture and than gave us plenty of time to either recreate his shot or experiment on our own. Is was absolutly amazing how much a detail can influence the outcome! He really opend our eyes to see things differently, be creative and try out new things. When you traveling to Brügge, defenetely plan one of Andys tours! We would book again anny time again! Thank you so much Andy, we really had an amazing time! - 15/06/24

We highly recommend Andy and his lovely wife/assistant Katja for a couples photo shoot! We both really enjoyed the shoot, the conversations, the history lessons of Bruges, and most of all the end result! We wanted natural photos for our 25th wedding anniversary and Andy did not disappoint. He took the rainy weather and my husband's mobility issues in stride and made the shoot delightful. Thanks again to Andy and Katja! - 21/06/24

My now fiancé and I did a proposal photoshoot with Andy and it was great. We got into contact a week and a half earlier and he was always available via WhatsApp for my ideas. He gave good advice on the locations and weather and did a great overall job. We are happy and highly recommend this guy 😁😉 - 20/06/24

Andy shot my fiance and I's engagement in Brugge! He was very helpful in the pre-engagement phase, suggesting locations for a great proposal and pulled off a great surprise on Lover's Bridge. He and his wife were so kind during the session and made us feel so comfortable, and even shared a bit about Brugge as we walked through the city taking photos. Our photos turned our beautiful and will be a treasure for us for years to come. We can't recommend Andy enough! - 10/06/24

Andy does a fantastic job at the engagement session, even though there was heavy rain that day the photos came out beautiful, and he is also a very happy and fun person who knows a lot about the history of witches. I definitely totally recommend it - 07/01/24
